This shoot for Tidal Magazine stemmed from my love of refracted light and watercolor. I was interested in exploring the sheer and clear trend that is so prevalent this spring. I put together this concept to explore aqueous fashion and beauty looks through the cut and shape of sheer clothing that references the movement of water and the way light is cast through transparent surfaces. To push the concept further we added in set elements that allowed us to shoot through watery surfaces. Every detail of this shoot from the color and textures in the clothing to the watercolor/wet makeup looks furthered the lush and liquified vibe.
